We aim to make Chunky Whale usable to WCAG 2.2 AA. This is a target, not a claim of complete conformance.
What we test
Our automated checks cover 24 named viewports across Chromium, Firefox and WebKit, light and dark themes, primary controls of at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels, enlarged text and reduced-motion behaviour. Firefox text-only checks use 200%. Reflow checks use a 320 CSS-pixel viewport, equivalent to a 1280-pixel viewport at 400%; this does not certify native browser zoom.
Known gaps
Real iPhone Safari, software-keyboard and VoiceOver acceptance remain pending. Small-link targets and Size & fit focus improvements are separate outstanding work. Automated checks do not prove full accessibility or assistive-technology compatibility.
